Introduction to the Leicester City Blog

Hello! This is my first blog on this site, so please bear with me while I get to grips! But thank you for visiting and taking time to read my posts! Well post at the moment!Just a bit of an introduction of myself, my name is David Sivill, Im 16, currently going to college, I live in the City of Worcester, so quite a distance away from my beloved Leicester, Ive always supported Leicester City, ever since my Uncle took my to my first game (a 3-0 Victory against Bradford at Filbert Street) and I havent looked back since. So I may Walt Weiss Jersey not have the years of dedication of many fans, but I still have a strong dedication to the Foxes. Ive stuck with them through everything and this season is going to be one of the most important in the clubs history.Anyway, thats enough about me! This blog is about Leicester City football Club, not me. There hasnt been much news about the new manager since Milan Mandaric decided to part ways with Ian Holloway. The main contenders seem to be Billy Davies, Steve Cotterill, Paul Lambert and Simon Grayson, but our chairman does not want to put down a definate name. He hopes to have signed and announced a new manager (Mandarics 6th manager as chairman of the Club) by June 15th at the latest. Lets hope we get a manager who can restore our club to the glory and position us fans crave and the club deserves. But if Im being honest, Im not getting my hopes up. This is going to be another important time for the club.In terms of new players at the moment all we have is rumors. The players Mandaric is rumored to be interested in are Emile Mpenza from Manchester City and Nathan Tyson from our rivals Nottingham Forest. There are also a few players rumored to be leaving the club but the main expected departures are Joe Mattock and Richard Stearman, both expected to leave for Aston Villa. Mattock and Stearman have both been vitaly important in our defence in the last few seasons and they contributed ma sively to us having the 2nd best defence in the Championship last season. Although that wasnt enough to save us from the drop to the dreaded League 1.No new kit information for this season, as we signed a two year deal with Jako and Topps Tiles at the start of last season, so there wont be any news on that front for another season. I personally am a big fan of our current kit and own both the home and away shirt. The stadium will remain the same for next season, with all stands keeping the current names and capacities. In conclusion, since our relegation to League 1, the club hasnt seen too many changes. Many of the squad seem dedicated to the cause and seem willing to stay at Leicester. If we can get a decent manager and a few changes to the squad, I can see Leicester taking the League 1 title and coming straight back up. However if Mandaric continues with his tradition of sacking managers for the smallest thing, I can see Leicester doing a Nottingham Forest and remain stuck in League 1 for a good number of seasons. So the future of the club is on Milan Mandarics shoulders. He has to accept the transfers, he provides the Rickey Henderson Jersey money and he chooses the managers. So we need Mandaric to do what is best for our club and stick with a single manager.Thank you for reading my first post.
